My Story
Agustin discovered acupuncture as a pre-med at UCLA. Having knee issues for years, he was treated with acupuncture at the local health clinic at UCLA, and in three treatments, the knee pain completely vanished. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Biological Sciences, he became a massage therapist to further his abilities/skills in holistically treating the body. Soon after, Agustin gained admission to the Emperor's College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where he finished his Master of Traditional Oriental Medicine degree with honors.
Agustin is currently in the last year of his Doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM) at Emperor's College in Santa Monica. He specializes in peripheral neuropathy and is currently a teaching assistant for formula classes in the Emperor's College Acupuncture Master's Program.
Starting in 2023, Agustin has joined a first-of-its-kind pilot program in the Greater Los Angeles Veteran Affairs Integrative Medicine Acupuncture Program. Offering acupuncture services to Veterans for the treatment of anxiety, pain, and other conditions that veterans may be experiencing.
